Post How to install a bazooka self amp'd sub?

Ok, I know that I can just run a wire for the power from the front of the car to the bazooka's amp. The problem is I don't know where I can get the signal for the 2 audio wires. Can I just tap into the signal that goes to my stock BOSE 9"??? I'm talking about tapping into the signal after the factory sub amp, not before it. Is this possible???

Yes, Bazooka self-powered subwoofer tubes have speaker level inputs on them (in addition to RCA level). You can just tap into your 9" speaker leads as recommended by Bazooka. A nice accessory is the Bazooka remote volume and adjustable crossover controller (sold seperate). This connects to the tube via a flat (telephone like cable) and allows you to fine tune the subwoofer from up-front. Also, the mounting location for the tube is critical so you will want to follow the instructions.

Yes, it is fine. I did it the same way. But you might want to use the blue wire that goes into the factory amplifier behind the rear seat as a remote turn-on lead for your bazooka's amp.
