I want new interior speakers, how deep are the 6.5s in the door???

I don't think anyone can help you here. You have to open it and take a look at it yourself (if you are gonna install the speakers) or have your installer looks at it. There is no point of reference to give you the measurement. It also depends on the speaker's magnet size.

Trust me on this one, the inside really aren't 6.5. The opening in the door is only a 5.25 opening. The way the magnet is on the cone for the stock it totally different than the aftermarket.

I had to have mine custom installed with spacers to keep the window mechanism away.

a baffle works wonders. Ive had the dynaudio 6.5s, and rainbow 6.5s in my car with no probs.
