Is there a firmware upgrade or something so I can play burned cd's on my 2000 tl bose factory system? Any ideas?
Thanks

Probably not.

Have you tried different media types and / or burning at a slower (much slower) speed?

those 2 things will help, but only sure way is to get an aftermarket CD player or get the 02-03 indash 6 disk CD player. It will read burned CD's

Are you sure the 02/03's read CD-RW's? I'll have to go test mine, because I didnt think any factory radio played rw's.

go test, that is the word...I dont have any personal experience. I mean the '99 player will read them, just not well. I think the new ones read them much better.

Sounds like I'm out of luck. Maybe I'll dump some coffee into it and see if my warrenty will replace it with a newer model.
Thanks
