Hooked up Bose Sub to Alpine deck, loss of power

Hi everyone im working on my 2nd gen tl and im in a bit of a pickle. I took my car apart wired everything to make factory sub and amp work with my aftermarket deck. Everything works...thank god(this was my second attempt), however it feels to me like the sub lost power (meaning it used to perform better), i checked it and it is not vibrating hard. But dont get me wrong, i fooled around with the decks sub levels and of course bass control as well. It made a difference but i know it could be much better. I used very good wiring, however the last thing that i have on my mind is the RCA splitter, it looks like it has very limited connection leverage. But thats just a theory, i will take some pics of the car while it is still apart for future diy's.

If anyone knows what the problem could be plz let me know. Thank You acurazine community for all the help.

There's a factory sub replacement thread in the DIY/FAQ/Info thread. Rather then messing around with that junk sub you might want to look into that. They are pretty cheap $100ish? and it's xmas time
