Mercman, I was one of the first that got your harness. I had the noise problem before too but I had work and now school. It really started to get annoying when I took the drive from MD to FL but how much is this new thing?

The new harness is $75 + shipping and if you send me your original harness in good clean working condition I’ll give you $30. Remember that this is an upgrade and the noise problems are caused by the HU not a problem with the original cable. The change to the cable is the addition a circuit that is usually found inside amps and HUs. Think of it as a new model with better specs then last years.

Lol, since I put everything back and have access to the underneath of the HU, is there something that I can jsut put at the blue connector at the HU?

I wish it were that easy. To add the mods I have to take the harness apart.

Yes, I have a hiss. And you know how it works, now that I am aware that it's a known problem and that there is a solution, it bugs me more and more everyday.

How long will your offer be good for to offer $30 back for the old harness in good condition? I should be able to swap it out over Winter break.
