Hey all. Just got my 04 TL a couple of weeks ago. What a car! I am having some problems with HFL... I am a T-mobile customer and have teh sony ericsson t610 phone. I got it paired and working well with making calls and getting calls but on the radio and console displays it always says that the phone is RM (romaing) when I know for a fact that I am not. On my phone itself it even shows that I am not roaming. So why the heck is it saying that I am roaming when I am in the car?

I called Acura. A big help they were. I tell you Honda makes a nice car but customer support sucks and the reps you talk to are as dumb as you know what. Anyways I called them and they walked me through testing the HFL by holding down the hangup button on the steering wheel for 10-15 seconds and it came back and said everthing was fine.

I then called T-mobile and they confirmed that I was not roaming too. So what the heck! Does anyone else have this problem or have any advise?

This happens sporadically with my t68i (t-mobile). It's not all the time, but some things I've used to snap it out of the roam mode on HFL:

1) re-boot the phone

2) turn off IR link on the phone (it it's on already)

3) turn off BT link on the phone, then turn it on again.

Hmm...this is a new one to me. A firmware upgrade and uncustomization/unlock could do the trick but this sounds like an isolated problem. Where are you located?
