hfl and bluetooth and cingular 6300 nokia
my question is for regular users of their hfl and bluetooth phone. does one have to connect the phone to the hfl each time the ignition has been shut off? after pairing my wifes nokia 6300 to the hfl, then loading the phonebook with her numbers,i made and recieved calls and everything worked well. i then shut the ignition off and retired for the night. the next morning i went back to check status of the system and the hfl responded by saying no phone found. i then took the phone and ran it through its bluetooth connect ritual. i then made a call and everything was like it was setup initially. it works good. i dont think my wife will want to do this after each stop, especially running errands on lunch hours. if i am doing something wrong please advise.
I had a Nokia 3650 and I had to set the Bluetooth connection with HFL as "authorized to connect". This allowed the phone to connect automatically to the HFL every time I got in the car. Hope this helps...
