Hey elduderino (need pics)

Hey elduderino,

I'll be using your guide "Step-by-step mating spacers for door speaks " to make my spacers for my 6.5 speakers for my 99 TL this weekend. However, there are some missing pics on that post. The last 6 pics don't show up. Is there any way I could get those pics from you? You can send them to tss@audiology.org

It would be very helpful.

Also, you mentioned a "plastic spacer ring from the box" what box are you talking about there?

Your inbox is full!

Thx,
Billy

Sorry, elduderino is an inactive member around here now. If you post up exactly what you are trying to do (and a reference link to the thread where you started) maybe someone else can help you fill in the details.

My fault, didn't realize he was inactive. I'll post up again with what it is I'm trying accomplish.

I see that your in Northern VA, I'm in Reston. How much do you know about spacers? I need to make some for my 6.5's that I'll be installing sometime this week. elduderino had written up a DIY for making them, but it was missing some of the after pics. I also need to install the tweeters, but have heard different opinions as to where to mount them - some say they should be near the mid-range driver (which I agree with).

Thx

Sorry, don't know anything about making spacers, I just buy them. I did my own install but I am no expert. In my car (TSX) my component woofers are in my door and tweeters up on the dash near the windshield, no where near each other. That's the stock setup, and my Kappas sound great in that config.

These people will make custom rings for you. Prices are VERY resonable in my opinion. Click on "custom fabrication" on the left.

That looks like a great product Castles_Saloon (actually better than the ones I used) but he needs brackets for the 2G TL.

Has anyone used the custom rings from http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/index.php to fit their 2G TL? If so, what dimensions did you use?

Sorry, I can't remember / find the link to the site where I originally bought them, but they looked just like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...e=UTF8&seller=

They are much easier to find for the TSX than the 2G TL since we use the same parts as the US Accord.

If its any help, I took a couple of pics during my speaker swap. I swapped out the OEM speakers and installed elduderino's Avincar speakers, spacers included. Here are the pics, front and back of the Avincar door speaker alrready mounted on the spacer alongside the OEM speaker. Hope this helps.
