hey all, i am really in need of help here. i want to purchase and install a mono amp and subwoofer in my non-navi tsx but my problem is i have never done this before. my friend has a lot of know how on this kinda stuff but he has never touched a tsx before and wants a wiring diagram pointing at what goes where to put it in his words. ive searched the forums but came up empty on anything useful (anything i could understand anyway) can someone please help me out, i have never had any sort of aftermarket system (besides a headunit because my old mazda 626 didnt have a cd player) and im itching to get something like this done.

i also dont want to go to circuit city or anything because i just dont trust them, besides im buying my stuff from a wholesale district for car audio here near los angeles so i dont know where to get it installed anywhere else. please help me!! thanks in advance.

theres a wholesale district in downtown los angeles, 11th street i think it was, where the entire street is warehouse audio equipment. if you want, i find out exactly where it is street wise (ive been there, dont remember exact streets) and anyone can go check it out. im pretty sure you can get prices that are cheaper than online if not equal which would be cheaper anyway since you save on shipping. my friend who bought stuff from there before said they are usually 40% cheaper than crutchfield, before bargaining a price. so hit me up if you anyone wants me to find out exactly where it is.

 

I'm looking to upgrade my system as well. Could you please fine out exactly where in LA I can find the audio warehouse district?

 

Check out www.discountjungle.net. They had excellent prices and their address puts them in this district. I work in downtown LA so I went down there one day at lunchtime. I didn't buy but they have a pretty sizable showroom and several tricked out cars with awsome sounding systems parked in the front (customers?).

On a side not, LB-TSX where are you at. I live close to Spring and Palo Verde.

ok i asked my friend but he wasnt sure what street exactly it was on, he said on on either 11th or 12th street and central, with central intersecting both streets. so i guss you can drive down central and check 11th and 12th street, it should be relatively close to that area, if i get some more exact directions ill keep you guys updated
