Help with sub size decision

Well I am trying to decide if I should go with 2 12's or 1 18 i just found a fi btl fully loaded brand new for 330 shipped which is dirt cheap. or i could go with 2 12's like re or fi not sure which brand. Ill have about 3.7 cubes for the 18 a little small but should still pound. im pushing about 2400 rms from my amp. watcha think? 2 12's or the 18

Single 12" CD Omega... If you really wanted to, you could even go with a 15"... With a 12" you could run basically my box (full width and height between the strut towers and 14" deep) and you'd be almost good for that sub. You come out to 15-16" deep, and you're going to be great...

Better yet, just do any single 12 or 15 setup... That way, it's that much better when people ask you what you're running, and you can say "1 12" (or 15")." Just my

how would you even mount an 18 in our trunks and still have a lot of usable space left?
but i personally like my 12's(W3v3's), and other 12's i've had before.. haven't tried anything bigger tho, so i can't comment on that

An 18" btl needs like 7 cubes. and it gotta be ported. i'd either do 1 12" btl or 2 12" bl's

i would get a new amp too. that alphasonik amp surely is NOT doing rated power.

yea after some looking I passed on the btl. I am gonna go for 2 12's. 1 12 no no wouldn't be loud enough for me. Here is a vid of what my dd 9515 was doin just sold her to go with more cone area. It was crazy loud but im never happy . the amp it actually throws some wicked power out it was at 1/4 in the vid, i've had a few alpha amps before and always liked them. http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...t=DSCI0012.flv Also i redid the box right after the vid and am putting cascade deadner in the trunk tomorrow

2 beefy 10's imo. It's feels better when you see the reaction on peoples face when you tell them it's 2 10's rather than 2 12's :}

Pushing ~1600-700rms to my two 10" ssa icons

Go with the 18,I just bought a Fi BTL 18 yesterday for 230 locally threw craigslist,to replace my 4 12's.The guy said he had it installed 3 days and crashed the truck.Also I dont think your gonna find a pair of 12's for 330 shipped that will compare to the BTL.

Does anyone read anymore? He picked up a couple of lvl3's... Yes, eggy, I would've though lvl4's as well, but probably not the xl's. The xl's are absolute monsters... The lvl4's would've handled the power just fine, but for the price he got the 3's for, I probably would've went with those too...
