I thought I read on one of these threads a while back that you can actually add tweeters to this system relatively easy compared to the rest of the stereo.

I have a 2000 TL and I bought Infiniti 1001t 1" tweeters I thought about putting in by the rearview mirrors in the door (surface mount).

I spoke with a custom stereo shop and asked them about the TL and they said it shouldn't be a problem and that they could run the tweeters without adding an amp or anything

Is this correct? Can I add tweeters without ridiculous modifications?
