HELP!! Question about In Dash DVD PLAYER

Hi, I have a Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD installed in my car and I was wondering how I can disable the part of the head unit that won't let the video work unless it is in park. Do you get what I mean, like I want to be able to watch DVD's while I'm driving (obviously I wouldn't watch...it would be for my passengers ) so does anyone know how I could do this? Thanks in advance

there is a specific wire coming out of the unit that needs to see a ground signal. I believe it is the light green wire. basically if you tie it in with the unit's ground wire, you can watch video at any time.
