Unhappy help with power :(

yea so i was vacuuming my car with one of those car vacs. it was plugged into the one underneath the navigation by the "ashtray." well i had some company come over so i shut off the carvac, and then the car. i hosted company, and when they left i went back to finish vacuuming, except the carvac didnt work anymore, so i thought it was just the carvac was the problem so i didnt think anything of it . later that week, i needed to charge up my cell, and i always have a car charger plugged into the power supply in the armrest, never took it off, i just let the wire hang out through the little whole. well i plugged in my phone, and few minutes later i checked the phone and it didnt charge at all. so i checked out both power supplies, and neither work.....is there something i can do to fix this myself? maybe something im forgetting to do? cuz i dont want to take the car to the dealer, or if i do it will be in a few thousand miles, and i need the power now....any help or suggestions appreciated thx

there should be a spare fuse or you can pick them up and pretty much any automotive store, even walmart.

Whatever you do, don't take the one that says "back up". It's not a spare fuse, but rather the fuse for most of the electronic stuff inside the car. I learned from experience.
