Exclamation Help with Navi and Homelink

Is there a voice command to switch screens from map/menu to the CD/Radio or AC screens?

Also, I can't get my last Homelink to operate. The other two open two doors fine, but the third one won't. Any ideas?

It's actually a totally different garage/house and a different opener model, but I know it's not a rolling-code one.

Lastly, anyone have instructions for cleaning/removing/installing the nose bra?

I wasn't really paying attention to the techs when they were putting it on.

Thanks.

Cleaning: wash with mild detergent. I usually spray mine down in the grass when washing the car, then go over it with a soapy rag, spray down again, and let dry hanging over my deck. Just don't put it on the ground - remember the inside surface is going directly on your paint.

Removing: just start unhooking everything, and slowly take off. I like to start from the bottom and work up. Again, remember not to let it hit the ground or slide excessively across the paint.

Installing: if it's a bit tight or new, you can lay it out in the sun for a while, and let it heat up, becoming more pliable. I work from the top down.

Just make sure you have a good protective wax on your car, at least where the mask will be. I've followed these tips for my other car for a year now, and not one scratch or other problem- and I've had that bra up to 150mph...

I am experiencing the same issue. I have three garage doors and each has a different opener. One has the rolling code and it works fine. The third one that doesn't work isn't the oldest of the three either. I haven't tried to program one of the ones that are working on the third homelink. That would determine if it is the homelink or my opener. I'll try to get around to that and post an update.

That would be really great if you figure out what's up with your Homelink...maybe it'll solve my problem.

You guys aren't alone on the homelink issue. I've been trying to program mine for a while. I don't think it's deleting the 'saved' code when I hold it down for the 20 seconds. Whenever I press it the little light blinks constantly. If I push down one of the outside buttons the light illuminates until I release the button.

Quick note, it is known that some older remotes don't work with Homelink. Go to their site to find more information.

Secondly, and I haven't proven this, but I've always cleared and programmed my Homelink without the car turned on. I only know it made a difference when the dealer tried to program mine and couldn't... multiple times each with the car turned on. Then I tried at home following the instructions in the owner's manual w/out the car on... worked fine. I have programmed slots 2 and 3 with separate codes, both rolling code types, and they work fine.
