Help with installtion on top of what i have

Whats up guys,

I have a TS-W3001D2 subwoofer in a 2 cu ft ported box with a 1000.1 amp mono block. The subwoofer is wired up with 4 gauge wiring and i am using a high low converter thing so that i can retain my factory stereo. This is all in a 01 Audi A6.

The car has been running well, but i am ready to replace the factory BOSE speakers. In terms of speakers i wanted to buy 2 sets of components 6.5's for a total of 4 mids and 4 tweeters. I am also looking to buy a 4 channel amp strong enough to power the component setup i want. With the addition of a new amp "the 4 channel" will i have to run seperate power / rca lines for that amp or could i just somehow splice the 4 gauge power line from my mono amp and link it to the speaker 4 channel amp? Im not 100% sure but someone told me to get a power doc station so that i could utilize the same power line from my mono amp. And as far as the RCA goes im not even sure how to deal with that. WIll i have to run seperate RCA's or can i somehow splice into my mono amp RCA's? sorry for the dumb questions this is all new to me

Are you wanting to keep the factory head unit, or replace that as well? If you're keeping your factory HU, you'll need a 4 channel LOC, and an amp that has a pass-thru RCA out. Then, you're probably going to want to run 1/0 power & ground wire from your battery to a distro block in the trunk then 4g wire from the block to the amps. As for speaker wire, I'd run all new for your 2 sets of comps. The RCA's would come from your 4-channel LOC (if you're not replacing your factory HU) to your 4 channel amp, through the pass-thru, then to your mono amp for the sub... This would provide signal for both amps. I think I answered all your questions, but I'm not sure... If I didn't, feel fre to ask again, and I'll answer when I see it...
