I have purchaed a JVC KD-AV7010 DVD in dash unit. I need to know how to remove the current deck and then whether or not removing it will have any effect on my keyless entry. I have a 2003 Acura CL Type S and I am kind of new at this so I dont know if it is first generation or second. I also have been reading about these adapters that can be purchased and put on to continue to have the steering wheel control the deck once an aftermarket deck has been put in. Can anyone advise on whether or not I can do this also? Please respond here or to my email at queen_julia@yahoo.com Any assistance will be very appriciaited!

Remember to buy a metra wiring harness and metra dash kit..

The steering wheel controls can be saved but at a cost.. Crutchfield sells the PAC SWI-X adapter.

Do you have Navi? If so then you also lose the Navi voice prompts..

Nothing will affect your Keyless Entry...
