Help with component speakers for TSX

Help with component speakers for TSX

I'm considering to change the component speaker with only little modification. WIll the 5 1/4 TYpe R component speaker fits better or the 6.5 Type S component will fit better??..what modification i need for both??

I believe the Type S comes with a plastic adapter that lets the 6.5 clip in.

Other than that Honda clip-in adapter, you need a spacer ring for just about anything, and screws for it into the metal. Very few speakers require removing metal.

Keeping the factory amp?

no, using my old mrv-f407 for speakers and t757 for sub

Nice amps. Why not use better speakers? you can do it with no mods to the doors...

o, which speaker do you prefer??..actually i bought the cda9855 for my head unit. I do think the Type S aren't very good. Any recommendation??.thx
