HELP...Christmas is coming
Ok, listen, I'm a newb, but I have a question...
WHERE can I find aftermarket stereo decks that fits the 2001 CL-S??? Crutchfield says the "have not measured this car yet". Best Buy said that this is one of only a handful of cars that they can't install with. Christmas is coming and I need to get this looked at.
I'm sorry, but Bose just isn't cutting it. I have subs, an amp and a CD-Changer all I need is speakers and a deck.
Suggestions for websites that might have any help/info??
I guess mainly since our stereo is built into the deck, can we find plastic pieces to fill the void.

If you notice...our dash where the stereo is slants outward like this: \ / . The kit that I saw didn't look like it slanted whatsoever. Do you have a pic with the screen collapsed?
Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!

kit is the same with or without the navigation. I had mine installed today. if you do a search for metra kit you can find the model number for it, and any shop that carries metra can order it for you. problem most places is that the kit is new and is not yet on the list for available kits...you have to get them to special order it.

Ok, I did a search on Google and I found a site. I said Acura 1992 thru present. I was like...really? Anyway, if you just got it installed, maybe you have a model number? Anyway, I'll find it eventually and all will be happy.
Is it true you have to replace all the speakers, since the bose have an amp connected to each speaker?

Bro, go to your local Metra dealer, ask them for a 2001-2003 CL dash kit, they might not have it, so tell them to order it.
You don't need to replace all the speakers, but it is highly advised. Remember, your system is only as good as your weakest link, since the bose speakers suck, you should probably change them.

Yeah, good thinking. Thanks! I already have everything minus speakers and the receiver. I had a nice set up in my old car, but I just got the CL.
Thanks again for everyone's comments!
