HELP! Audio Speaker ???

hi guys i recently joined the acurazine forums and I have 2002 acura tl s. When I bought the car The speaker system was broken. I want to get a new speaker system and radio but i am on a low budget of $500. So i want to ask what kind of radio and speaker system with the sub woofer you would recommend that are compatible with each other. Also what are the sizes of the speakers of the doors and the sub woofer.
Any advice and recommendation is appreciated thank you.

Not sure on the subwoofer, but one of my speakers were blown, and learned that all the doors are 6.5. Im just going with buying another stock speaker. Doing a system on this car takes some extra work, so it might not be worth it if you don't want to get involved. If all your speakers aren't working check to make sure something else isn't wrong first before you go off and buy new speakers though.(stock amp(s) could be blown or something)

you def cant get a sub with that budget..as for the headunit look into pioneer and alpine..both great brands with decent prices..as far as the speakers..for the fronts..the phoenix gold rsd component set is by far the best entry level set i've heard and can be had at about 89-99 bucks..match those up with some alpine or pioneer 2-way 6x9s for the rear and a decent 4 channel amp and u'll be set..make sure to get an amp that can do 100x4 @4ohms

here's a great layout for you, considering used market prices (looking around audio forum fs threads)

pioneer prs 880 headunit - ~200 used or refurb'd
Pioneer Premier TS-D720C 6.5" comps : 100 brand new, probably best components you
can get for that price, very underrated
Image Dynamics IDQ 12" subwoofer - ~100 or so used if you look around, awesome sub
Amp: cerwin vega exl 400.4 - ~90 shipped on ebay, best effin amp you'll ever touch for that price, they are rebadged zapco reference amps, without the zapco name

That's a 500 dollar budget. However, you'll still need a subwoofer amp. I got my eclipse A1000 450watt rms sub amp for 60 on ebay. There are deals to be had. The above will give you a KICK ASS system that will blow you away. That headunit is epic and the best you'll touch for the price, with digital time alignment and active crossover processor built-in.

Best of luck!
