Help with amp Install

Help with amp Install

Im installing an amp and sub in my girls car. for v day. i've got the amp installed and trying to use the high level speaker inputs for my source. I tapped the rear speakers ,when the cars on it works fine but when i turn off the car and then turn on it on again the speakers stop working . all of them when i disconnect the amp they start to work. and hook them up again its working only when i turn off the car they stop. need help

ASAP!


shes leaving for a trip tommorow.

It sounds like you may have accidentally attached a switched hot wire from your fuse panel into a constant hot on the amp.
