HELP!! :)

Ok guys i know this has probably been talked about 10000000 times but i just wanna make sure before i start cutting or tapping into any wires. I want to add a sub and a amp to my car. is there anyway i could "tap" into the rear deck speakers and not have to go all the way to the back of my head unit? if this is possible, what will i need and how do i connect it? i know i still have to run a power to the battery in the front..
Thanks

You also will have to run the remote turn on lead to the headunit. Anyway, you need a line level convertor. Then you just tap into the wire to the rear speaker and plug it into the convertor then there should be a RCA output that goes into the amp. However you could get an amp with high level inputs. Then all you have to do is run the wire from the speaker to the amp. Good luck.
