Headrest TV Install

I am intersted in adding TVs to my headrests, yet due to the configuartion they can only accept a very small TV.

Has anybody found a solution to this or has anybody installed a drop down TV?

My concern is that a drop down will be too bulky.

stokeless did an install i think there is a thread about ti somewhere, i think he used tvs that were between 5 and 5.6 inches, not sure exactly. There are a few companys that make the sets, tvs and headrests, together and sell them with factory leather but i have only found them for the MDX and im not sure if the leather is the same.

The problem is that with the TSX headrests I am only able to fit about a 4" screen. If I could fit a 5"-5.6" that would be fine.

It was recommended to me that I get some new headrests constructed; however, I like the headrest style and it would be a shame to change it.

Any ideas?

I had a TSX loaner with the DVD sytem in it. Not a bad system I must say. There is one on Ebay for about $1400 - player, monitor (mounts on interior roof), remote & 2 wireless headphones.

Im pretty sure the head rest w/ acura is pretty much universal. I went a stereo shop and they had head rest for a TL and he put it in my car head rest to show me what it looked like, it looked fine. I am still looking around because I want to change the HU because the stock one is to much of a pain in the ace.

Hope that helped but im sure it didnt, Acura did a pretty good job of making it hard to put aftermarket stuff in these cars.

You gotta xcheck with stokeless he put some tvs in his headrests, and if im not mistaken he used the stockhead rest with tvs that were bigger then 5 inches but check with him to make sure.
