Headrest Question ?

Please if anyone knows, I have two Alpine TME-M760 6.5'(moniters) . I really need to know if they will fit in a 2001 CL-s headrest ? I already bought them so I hope i didn't waste my money. If they dont fit, can anyone please tell me if there is another alternative way to do it..... thanks for anyones help

i dont see why they would not fit... the headrest might have to be reformed a little to make it look right... is this something that you are going to do your self or are you planning on paying someone to do it... if this is your first headrest install i would think about paying someone to do it...

Anybody can do anything for the money-I was considering putting mine in the headrests, but to be honest, that is played out, yet everything is played out so I guess they have to go somewhere. Headrests is okay, the visors upfront are okay too, you can have them incorporated into the actual back of the seat (the back panel of the seat is VERY easy to remove and work with). If the headrests dont work out you can always use TL headrests. Good luck!

Well actually my bestfriend just put 5.6' tvs in his headrest in a 2003 TL and he had to get different headrests, so Im pretty sure that won't work. The moniters I got for $ 550 a pop.

You got a good deal-but seriously, anybody WILLING to do the work can put the headrests wherever you want them. I have seen headrests in the TL so that is some b/s unless the '03 has some queer headrest.

Here is proof, unless those aren't 03 headrests:

your best bet would be send the monitors and headrest to streetz and let him do them for you... i have that same alpine monitor got mine for $510.... but i am putting mine in the dash where the radio is... man i cant wait for the rest of my equipment to come in so i can get started on the install..

Well I actually went to Senior Stero and they said that the tv's will probably fit. The only problem is, is the cross stich that might make it look all cramped and pushed together.... Is there anyone that knows anyone thats has had it done and "Acurajl " the link you put what is kind of tv is that in the TL (the indash above the stock radio) is that a moniter or a flip out ???? If you know let me know... Thanks

ok here ya go.. the link that acurajl posted is a picture of a pioneer avx-p7000 modified to fit in the post it note tray above the headunit.. and about the headrest monitors you really should talk to streetz i bet he can do anything you would like and i bet it would look better than any of your local shops.. personally i have seen people have up to 7in screens in the tl/cl headrest with no problem.... since you have a cl-s you may have to modify the headrest like streetz did in the first picture... just send your stuff to streetz and let him do it for you....
