Hands Free Cell Phoning

Has anyone hooked up an aftermarket hands free kit for a cell phone? I'm looking to wire one through the car speakers with a mounted mic. Also, it should be adaptable to different cell phones if possible. I appreciate any help with this.

Is your phone Bluetooth enabled? If so there are kits available which will do just want you want. But be preparied to pay. $200 to $300 is the going price for these kits.

There are other ways to do this, but I am not sure on what exactly you need. I use Bluetooth and it works great.

Unfortunatley my current phone isn't bluetooth enabled. I was hoping to wire my phone through the stereo aux input, but i'm not sure about how to hook up a mic.

I don't know if anyone knows this but Acura no longer sell a handfree kit for the TSX or the MDX. I guess they were having too many problems.

i have a kit wired to the factory speakers, you wont be able to use the AUX because you would have to switch to that to hear the phone
a simpler solution is like the install i did with the sony ericsson HBC-30 i wired it so the drivers door speaker would cut over to the phone from the audio and nav system with the use of a simple relay
