hi all,

i just removed the factory bose cd/tape player to replace with aftermarket alpine deck..... the problem is im not sure what happened, but the GPS voice is no longer working (i made sure the voice was turned to the highest). The stupid installer guy at honda told us it "might" be connected to the stock deck and that he didnt know there was GPS in the car...HOW THE HELL DO U NOT KNOW THERE IS GPS IN THE CAR WHEN YOU INSTALLED A DECK??!

pls help asap. i want to go back to honda and chew him out if he forgot to plug something. thank you all.

it is normal to have no voice after getting a new deck.......no real good way to get it back either...

 

hey what model and year is your car? I am looking for a stock cd changer for my 04 tsx, mine broke. If we have the same model pls let me know if your interested in selling your stock. sorry about what happen to your new one....thanks

 

yes. Im also wondering what model you're talking about.. I thought the GPS unit was not supposed to work at all after installing an aftermarket head unit.
