Got the kappas in

Well they are in and they sound real good. Only problem is there is a slight hiss and alternator noise coming from the amp. What can I do to stop this. I think Radioshack sells some kind of noise filter but does anyone know if it will work??? I was a bitch to put them in. I had to cut a good bit off the door but I was still able to keep the 3 screw holes for the stock basket if I ever need. Also I have the crossover mounted in the door..do I have to worry about water getting on them or are they in a good spot??
Thanks

Your crossovers should be fine as long as you mounted them somewhere in the door panels and didn't remove or cut the plastic sheeting that covers the door.

It's all a matter of preference I'm sure. To me they sound great, especially for what they cost me. The Kappa tweeters are known to be pretty bright...combine that with the placement of the tweeters in the the pillars of the CL and it sounds even brighter. I have the treble on the head unit turned down slightly, but I have the treble on my amplifier (that's centered at 18khz) turned up.

They do sound good, but a little to bright for me. Some music sounds real good and others don't. O well.
