Question good stereo shop in Southern CA

Newbie. This is a great site. Even with Steve's great instructions, I am too chicken to try it myself. Anyone can recommend a dealer in the Southern California (Orange County preffered) and hopefully at reasonable prices that can modify my 2000 TL with NAV to watch TV and DVD. Thank you very much.

Unhappy

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately they do not modify current system. They only install new system. I need someone that is willing to modify my current NAV and DVD to play TV and DVD.
Thank you.

mm....Read the first post of the Audio and Electronic forum. You need to get the instruction and buy the parts first. You can't just do that with ur stock Navi system. When you find a place to install...please let me know~

There was a shop in Orange (close to Orange Circle) that asked for detailed instructions. Sorry I don't recall the name, but look them up your local yellow pages.

Thank for the tips. Question for Steve - Are you close to Orange County, CA? If so, are you interested in modifying my Acura TL 2000 with NAV? Paid of course. It doesn't make sense to add another screen and DVD player when I already have them. Most of the stores install new systems and the stores that modify existing system I don't trust.

Please let me know

Thanks,

Ryan

Please disregard the message above. Should have looked to see that Steve is from Washington. I'll contact the dealers above.

Thanks again,

Ryan

I don't know why I didn't think of them earlier, but I used to live in San Diego.

There is a place called Fritz Auto Sound. They are a real top of the line shop with who knows how many trophies from IASCA events. The owner is invited often to be a judge at IASCA events from what I hear.

I visited them once in while when i used to live there (i never had money, but it was fun to talk to them and see what cars they were working on).

It'll cost you, but they do awesome work.
