getting a sub

been reading enough, going to get a sub for the back, i don't want "vibrate my spoiler off" just a hard hitting base, i looked at an audiobahn 10 inch sub

what do you think?

I listened to the Audiobahn and I wasn't overly impressed with them. I went with Eclipse instead. They cost a bit more, and need more power, but I liked them quite a bit better.

You may want to look into the Kicker Solobaric subs too. They're usually pretty easy to find & audition.

How about a JL Audio 10W3 sub? BTW, a good power amp is essential when driving your subwoofer to deliver clean bass without causing muddy distortion. (The JL Audio 250/1 monoblock sub amp is a quality piece.)

Another thing you can do to keep your spoiler from vibrating off your car is to Dynamat the inside of your trunk to keep the BASS inside, where it belongs.

you should consider diamond audio, which i ran for a year...very nice spl and sq...crystal cmps, orion, jls are pretty good but there are other brands that are just as good...idq's are very clean and clear...which are the ones im running now...hint of advice try not to buy anything from stores like circuit city, best buy or good guys or stereo one or al and ed's...they all are for mediocre stuff...not to hit on them but if you ask them why they dont carry somethign likke diamonds or focals or crystals they will say its too high end of a brand for us to carry...quoted from them...
