I was thinking of removing the stock sub, buying the cheapest amp and speaker I can find, then hooking the voice output of the navi into that amp, and mounting the speaker in place of the stock sub. I'm assuming this will work, but I haven't tried it yet.

new cd player = no NAVI voice, the only crazy way around it is, finding the wire that has the NAVI voice on it then send that to a small amp and you would have to mount 1 or 2 new speakers somewhere....not worth it, I think the NAVI voice is annoying anyway, just look at the screen.

Yeah, but you can still use an MP3 CD changer to play MP3's without loosing the NAVI voice.

Archeat2k,

You can keep your current stock setup and just get an alpine CHA-634 CD Changer (i'm pretty sure this is the model #) with a blitzsafe adapter and it will MP3's play through the stock radio. And you'll still keep your navi voice. I believe a few have already done this.

nope the alpine cha-s634 is a hide away 6 disk cd changer.. that is definately the easiest way to acheive mp3 playback and retain the stock headunit..
