Getting aftermarket radio.. some questions..
Im getting rid of the factory bose sound.
Im getting a headunit 4X52 peak or 4X24 rms that is satellite ready. I was concerned about the factory subwoofer being utliized. I heard there is an invertor or something that will allow the factory headunit to run all 5 speakers.
Is that going to hurt the headunit as im sure it would have to run at a lower impedence?
Also, will I still be able to use the volume controls on the steering wheel?

Yes TL Type S
Sorry... correction, the factory headunit.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
How will it get its signal? From the invertor of which Best Buy speaks?
Anything on if I will still be able to use the volume control on the steering wheel?

Thanks for everyones help. I decided to get a Sirius Stiletto 100 hardwired and retain all the goodness Acura already had in the car. She will rest to the right and below of the navi just out of the way of the glovebox. That will give me 2GB worth of MP3 as well as my Howard Stern!!

I suppose I could. I just found out it has its own amp. Not sure if those connections are RCA or what though...
But I resolved my own problem, look above your post!

Thanks!
It was a clean install by Best Buy.
You have a completely different generation of vehicle so Im not sure on your spacing. But thats the way I thought it still looked good.
