gauge needls

are the needles themselves red before they are lit or is it a red led cause if is a red led is it possible to make it blue

There is red plastic in there illuminated by a red LED. If you put a blue LED in there it would look purple.

Its just plastic so I'm sure it's possible. Don't underestimate how much of a bitch this job will be though....

I agree with Dan

I think that changing the needles would be a lot harder than you would think.

Well you probably can but you would have to disassemble the entire dashboard. Easily a full day job.
