FM Modulator

I wanted to know what FM Modulator you use for the video on the navi kits. I don't want one that needs to be plugged into the radio. I have a cell phone kit that doesn't require it....any ideas?

well, if it's called an fm modulator...wouldn't it have to be plugged into the radio since it's using fm signals/channels and hence the name? and if your cell phone kit did not use one, why don't you buy another?

since you didn't mention what is so special about your phone kit...i'm guessing it's either just an interrupt or it has a dedicated speaker.

so i guess i don't know what you are saying!

Actually, no. The cell phone kit has a plug for power (which plugs into the cigarette lighter) anda plug that connects to my cell phone. then i tune my radio to a certain FM station and i can hear the caller through my bose speakers. There is nothing being plugged in to my radio.

I wantto get another FM modulator, not for my cell phone obviosuly, but for my video-navi video source, such as a psx2 or laptop than can handle RCA's as a source of input. know what i mean?

Haven't tried it but Akron and SoundFeeder makes them no need to hook it to your antenna.

Read mix reviews on them.
