you might remember me or might not but, i am that kid who wants to put in a system in his car (yes thats me)

i was looking around and asking around about the headunit. i know i am getting a set of 2 12'' subs, amp, wiring, and installation all in 500 (my friend's cousin has an audio shop) but i don't know about the head unit. i don't know if he is reliable or not either.

i know i am definitely getting the sub. and i am going to have more cash (as now i am broke) soon in couple months. or i can borrow money from friends (so i can pay them back later)

so i have many options.

1) get the subs, get it installed. don't do anything.
2) get the subs, don't stall it, get head unit later and install them together.
3) get the subs, install it, get head unit later and THEN install it again.
4) wait til later and get everything together.

what will be the smartest choice. =/ and preferably the cheapest one.

i was thinking about sticking with the old bose system...

i don't know >< what i am going to do.
oh can u give me list of headunit that might be good for TL and.. under 300
how much is installation fee for head units.

can anyone find me a deal?

 

under $300 for a good headunit... hummm... you should be about to get a decent alpine, kenwood or pioneer for around $300 off the net... if it was me i would say go with an alpine unit and pay the extra money... as system is only as good as the headunit..
