Finding Alarm Installers?
Finding Alarm Installers?
hey im i nthe market for a compustar alarm, and i got a few authorized shops.. but my question is, how do you know which one to choose? what separates one work from another and how will i know?
thanks
thanks
My suggestion is to ask to speak with your installer for a couple of minutes and ask him what he does to make an install better than the ones he sees come in installed in client's cars who went elsewhere. If he tells you that all installs are the same, run.
Does he hide the module?
How does he dress the wires?
Where does he put the siren?
How long does he take?
All this costs time, and money - don't expect to get this kind of job for slam-bam rates.

No tips expected... but if the installer gets paid commission, the more labor fees you pay the better he gets paid, so don't scrimp.
This thing has to be a win-win. The shop has to make enough money to justify tying up an installer for a while. You have to get a good install. The installer has to get enough labor dollars out of it to justify making a project out of it.
This is why we rarely sell alarms - we are too expensive.
Contact withoutcomp1 his shop is in Brooklyn.. www.212motoring.com
