Finally installed my Blitzsafe for my iPod!
Well, it might not be as siginificant of a mod compared to what some of you guys are doing but I'm psyched none the less.
After learning all I needed to know from this forum and from http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalAcuraTL.htm I was ready to tackle this simple mod. Another big help were a few schematic-like images of the center console (in a disassembled state) that someone posted here.
All I can say is that if any of you are still messing with FM modulators or cassette adapters, take the plunge and find out what your ears have been missing! The Blitzsafe adapter made me fully appreciate my iPod again and the lack of ugly wires is truly a blessing.
And oh, I ran the audio cable down under the center console and into the arm-rest compartment. I drilled a hole under the 12V outlet and snaked it in through there. While a 3 foot cable would reach, I recommend using a 6 footer - this will give your iPod (or whatever) more mobility. Also, any excess can be pushed back through the hole. Good luck!

I also installed a Blitzsafe adapter this weekend, and I too am very happy with the results. I'm using the Belkin power adapter for my 3rd gen iPod. It neatly integrates audio and power in the single connector which plugs into the bottom of the iPod, then routes the audio to the Blitzsafe. Currently I have the iPod in the upper compartment of the armrest, but I plan on getting one of these when they are released later this month. It should fit neatly in one of the cup holders.

Thanks for the info Deep Blue! I just installed the Blitzsafe for use with my Nomad Zen on my '99 TL with Navi. It works great. I ran the audio cable into the center console and use the 12V connector there to power the Zen. This is a much better solution than using a tape adapter or FM transmitter. I highly recommend this to everyone. The radio removal was a little time consuming, but very easy to do with the webpage Deep Blue provided.
Now I just need to install one on my wife's new '04 MDX

So are you guys keeping your ipod in your center console? I would think that it would be a pain to keep opening it up and selecting new albums or songs. Maybe I am confused. Has anyone mounted the ipod on the dashboard or stereo area yet?
I actually bought one of those Belkin TuneDok's, so it fits in the cup holder of my center consoles.
It works OK - it's not perfectly stable in there, but that's only really a problem when I take the iPod in and out. Even then, it's not that bad.
When it's in there, it looks like a real clean set up. If, however, you live in a high-crime area, and you're leaving your iPod in your car, this might not be the best option because it's always exposed.

There are different varieties, but the one being discussed in this thread connects to your factory stereo's CD changer inputs and provides 2 RCA jacks, to which you can connect any kind of auxiliary audio device.
You can also drill a small hole next to the cig lighter plug and put a 1/8" jack there. That way, you can take a standard audio cable and plug it into the 1/8" jack, and then into the iPod. It makes for a very clean install, because you don't have any wires that you have to push back in when you aren't using them.
If you do this, be careful of two things:
1) Get a jack that has a very low profile. If it sticks out too far, you won't be able to fully close the door that covers the cig lighter and the change drawer.
2) Be careful when drilling. Its hard plastic and I went too fast when I did mine. It cracked, although not badly.
