Fiberglass sub box in my TSX
I got to show this off the other day at the Chicago meet, but I thought I would post the pics here as well
It's designed to house a single Jl 12w6 and 300/2 amplifier, and then was painted in the Honda/Acura Nighthawk Black paint to match my car.
Let me know what you think!

Worth the install? That's a personal decision, but I think it was. Sounds much better than the 6x9's did.

Fiberglass Istallation Tips?
Hey nice job e_lectro I think it looks very clean!
So did you use the 6x9's connection thru a line converter for the amp?
How about rattles do you get a lot and if so did you dynamat anything that you had problems with?
I am in the process of installing 2 Kicker L7 10's in a sealed box (I prefer sealed and would not build any onther way) and I would appreciate any certain area I should look for rattling and what your solution was. It would save me a lot of time.
I will post pics of entire installation process when complete, I have been documenting each step to help others out.
Hey I really commend your courage to go all out on the enclosure, sick!
I also would like some info on workng with fiberglass, I have tried in the past but I think I was either using the wrong materials or I had no clue what I was doing. Where did you learn? Any links you can direct me to?

Thanks for the compliments guys
The amp is connected to the stock radio through my AudioControl EQX, it has a line converter built in. I went ahead and removed the 6x9's.
Yes, I got rattles, but I have not done anything about them yet. The main rattle is the licnece plate area. This is something I plan to start looking at more this week.
Almost everything I learned about fiberglassing was from HERE. There is a ton of info there and was a great help. Doing it was easy after reading through the posts.

At some point in time, I might try tapping into the wires before the stock amp. I just dont feel like tearing down the dash again right now But that feeling wont last for long, lol

Nice install, but thanks alot, now I feel the need for bass.
It has been a bit of an adjustment going from 2 12" subs to the 6X9 or whatever it is in the rear deck. I keep telling myself that I will get used to it. Oh well I can fit more golf bags in now... I do miss my epicenter and sub box though.
