Fiberglass 12" sub box for TSX with Trunk Tray

I just got back from testing this set up out. It's a 12" Lightning Audio (Turd speaker) sub placeed on the passenger side of a TSX with an OEM Trunk Tray. There is about 1.2-1.5 cubic" of air space in the box.

The cd's I used in the test run were: 1. Audio Slave (the first one) 2. Fugees (Score) 3. Evinescnce 4. New Black Eyed Peas.

Man I love the sound of a 12! With the windows down going 60mph that 12 let me hear every note I wanted to hear! I think the perfect system might have a 12 on the passenger side and a 10 on the drivers side!

I would love to hear it with a better 12 though even though it sounded great!

Why would the perfect system have a 10 on one side and a 12 on the other?

Looks great CJams!! Nice job man.

How much clearance is there between the back of the speaker and the back of the box?

Instead of having 2 10's the way I originally designed it, I would like to trade one of the 10's for a 12 so I have the bass range of both a 10 and a 12.

There is about 5-6" of room behind the magnet.

I built it myelf, so it just cost me my time (the weekend) and materials.

not a good idea to have two different size subs in your trunk. go to caraudio.com and do a search on that. it has to do something with the sound waves canceling out each other if you do that.
