Hey all,

I usually hang out in the RL board, but my father just picked up an 09 mdx, and while it does have an AUX in, it doesn't have a means by which to control an ipod or USB based device from the interface. In the RL forum they always mention the PA15-HON2 harness as an option, would that work in an MDX or is there some other option you guys like?

1. Out of curiosity, what color did he get?
2. 2007-09 MDX's would need the USA SPEC PA15 ACU XL, not the HON2. It plugs into the XM box that's under the carpet near the subwoofer. Apparently it is very plug and play and takes 5 minutes to install (no need to mess with the radio in the dash). It uses XM1 I believe to control, so XM2 would still be available for satellite radio.

I have not done the install but there is a thread somewhere on this board about it and also on mdxers.org with pictures discussing this. I actually just ordered one a few days ago from autotoys for $152 shipped.
