Does anyone know if the factory radio on an '02 RL with navi has an external input outlet?

I am tired of going to the trunk to access the CD changer. If the factory radio has an external input outlet, then I will ask a local vendor to install an iPod connection to this outlet.

In order to use the existing sound system and be able to change CD's from the driver's seat, I understand I have two choices: (1) buy an aftermarket replacement radio with built-in CD player, or (2) find a way to connect an iPod and then load my music on the iPod.

Any other ideas?
