engine noise and reception

Last week I put in a set up of a single jl 10, and a mono amp, thanks to silverknights nice instructions the install was a snap, I did buy the cable link harness so that I didnt have to cut any wires, and I hate taking apart that car, it sucks compared to my three screw and the dash falls off accord...

Anyway, after I got it all installed I am getting some engine noise which wasnt surprising, but it is only coming from the rear speakers! I have the sub amp grounded to the bolt in the back that already had a ground on it, could this be the problem, I don't think it would be but I have some really good rca's, that are running down the separate sides, power left, rca right, and this is the fourth honda I have installed, the first bose though. Would the ground loop isolator help this??? I have never had to use one before. The navi seems to be working fine even thought the ten slams right beneath it but my radio reception sucks now!!! The antenna definetly got plugged back in and some stations work, but half my presets dont even come in now. I know silvernight is the resident expert but does anyone have sugggestions on the radio or rear speaker only noise???

silver, did you have to use a ground loop isolator or anything, i saw you asking a question in the other post, but most don't seem to have needed one and i am trying to figure out if i should get one or if it is a waste of time, thanks!!!

ps... it doesnt seem like any of the basslinks need them, but I don't think they are a full upgrade either so....

Normally, you dont have alternator noise problem with sub since it's high frequency and the amp alreadys filter high frequency.
