Hello - - I recently bought a 2009 RDX with Technology package. The car had 500 miles on it (NJ dealer driven). I absolutely love the car, not bothered by the harder ride as my other car is an audi a4 convertible with similar "sport" ride.

Having a slight problem with the radio audio - - the volume goes up and down slightly (but noticable) on it's own. Seems to go down as the car is coming close to a stop (5mph or under). Seems to go up when car is accelerating (about 25-40mph). Help! I know I can take the car to the dealer, but this is one of those problems that could take may trips to the dealer for them to ever acknowledge (you know--Murphy's Law--it may not happen when I test drive with them). Any ideas what can cause this?

Speed-sensitive volume control is a feature!

don't own an RDX so i'm just guessing

but some cars have an ambient volume adjustment, so it would turn up the volume slightly on it's own when traveling at high speed, or with the windows open, etc.


Might check the owner's manual and see if it has that feature, and if you can shut it off.
