elduderino help please

Hello,

(Do I need to remove the top of the rear seat or can I just remove the rear passenger panel to push 3 pairs of stinger RCA's thru the trunk? What is the best practice for this?)

- Gieco is starting to pay for the damaged cut cable and the install after I produced receipts. But my question to you, is it common for shops to rewire everything after a theft? The wires that were cut were the RCA, Ground 4 speaker pairs and Power Cable (all of them). They want to rewire the speakers as well, I just don't see the point as only about an inch was cut from each cable.

Thanks in advance.

Is it common for a shop to want to get PAID for rewiring as much as possible after a theft? Yes.

But as a rule we would not rewire the speaker wires if they reach where they need to go - unless they look like they got yanked on. The shop may have had a situation in the past where speaker wires were damaged farther down due to getting pulled hard.

But if I metered them and popped the speakers with a speaker popper, and everything worked, I'd have to try it out. If there is any further damage found you can file a supplemental claim.

As far as that goes I bow to CL-S owners who have done this more recently than I...

Yeah, too bad my digital camera dove into that concrete sidewalk. I would of had great pics of the RCA cable install process.

...then there was that time Lindsey Lohan told me to hold the camera, but I felt shame because mine was broken and she felt shame because of her very strong gag reflex. I tell you, it was a very akward moment for us both.

Remove cushions and stuff the fockers up through.. It's actually easier to feed them in from the trunk.. Actually ALOT easier..

Thanks Jonesi. Going thru the rear was much easier, and I didn't even need any lube! (ok, well there was some spit)

Insurance sent me a check so I purchased a Alpine CDA-9856. The iPod interface has greatly improved. Also it's a direct connect, no more adapters. So if your looking, Alpine currently has the fastest search for the iPod.

Cheers.
