TL: Eclipse double din Navigation

Eclipse double din Navigation

I just installed an eclipse double din gps and when i hit the maps button it shows my current postion in newyork when im in salem oregon?? is there somthing i need to do in order for it to find my current postion? did i install it wrong? please help....

Does it maybe need a couple hours to sync up or something?

do you have the gps sensor pretty out so that it can recieve signal eaasily?

ok i found out why, you need to set a new current postion when you install it. The gps signal is really low and i have is sitting on the dash board??? when driving on the back roads it looses the car and goes off track?? is there anything i should be doing?

not sure i recently got a alpine ina w900 and my nav sensor is on the dashboard. picks up signal fine and works amazing... think you should get rid of the eclipse lol

yeah maybe lol.....I went from an avic d2 to this cause it was newer.

Also how did you mount it to the dash board? or is it just sitting there? i have mine just sitting on the dash not mounted.

just used 3m tape to the bottom and ur good
