Easiest way to install a power cable from Battery?

I Just grabbed a 99TL and 1st thing I want to do is install a sub - tomorrow - Before I attack the project could some one give me a heads up on where to start - which panel to take off first, and where is the best way to get through the firewall?

ok here ya go... or at least this is the route i took... run the power wire from the battery thru the gromment in the firewall... (if you are looking inside the car this gromment will be right above the gas and break pedal... you should see a little circle cut out in the rubber mat... if you are looking under the hood it will be towards the middle top... )... then just take off the kick on the driver side and route the wire along the side of the car.... you will probably have to remove the back seat to get the wire to the trunk... but that is basically the route i took...
