Middle A/C vents have been capped off, and forced to blow out the side vents....so now he has twice as much air flow from the two outer vents

That ... is awesome. How does it connect to the rest of the on board computer (OBC)? Through the normal iBus? Or did you have to split some wires? Also, how are normal controls (OBC, navigation, emergency, etc.) controlled? Can you still use the trunk Navigation system so that you free-up the DVD player up front?

Sorry for all the questions! This is the best implementation I've ever seen to date!

i very seriously doubt that this is tied in with the obc (on board computer) since this is simply a tv screen which is basically replacing the headunit... the pioneer avd-w8000 to be exzact... the screen is controled by the brain (either 8000r or 9000r) which is probably located either under the seat or in the trunk.... the brain will control all the head unit functions (ie, am/fm tuner, etc)... you could connect the pioneer navi to this and have it in the trunk if you wanted navi.... but truely i dont think that it is intergrated with the obc like a stock navi would be...

oh by the way Ron great work on the install... as usual...

Ah ... that's the part that I don't see. I was just wondering how standard controls are performed, since I don't see all the necessary keys. Thanks for the answer!

Matt, this is one of the best mods I've EVER seen. I just checked out their website and there are more pics. I can't believe that they are here, seems like a shop that only exists on CA or etc.

Looks very nice! The only thing I don't care for is how the black around the dvd doesn't match.

The black around the DVD matches ALL the rest of the black surfaces in the car, including the guage cluster, and both vents which are on the same level in the dash. That's exactly why we did it, so it looked more factory

I dunno, in the pictures, it doesn't look like it matches very well, it still looks good, I would've probably sprayed it aluminum around it.

What are you looking for it to match exactly? It's not supposed to match the "dash" itself, it matches the components on the dash, like the vents and guage cluster.
