I just purchased the '05 TL with Navi...and I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this question, but I've heard it's possible to hook up a DVD to the stock Navi screen..is this true? I have the Alpine DVA-510 and want to install it in the TL..it supports touchscreen control...so will it work with the touchscreen on the navi screen? so if all this is possible what equipment would I need to make this happen...approx how much will it cost me...and will it still be able to get the 5.1 sound, or will i have to buy a separate processor for the DVD player. If I can get any help on this it will be much appreciated...thanks!

 

Check out Dom's navi to dvd converter for the video conversion. I don't think it's possible to hook up the dva-510 and get touchscreen features with it though. You should b able to get the video to play, but no touchscreen features as of yet.

As far as the sound goes? Dunno with your car?
