DVD Navigation System setup

Do all Acura models share the same DVD nav system in the trunk. If the TSX/ TL has the same system as the MDX should there be a plug somewhere for a camera that will engage when the car is in reverse? I would like to do this mod, but bypass the $500 avelectronics item, of which I would never use the other features. I just want the camera and this could be much easier if a camera could be in essense "plug and play" to the nav system.

I know some of you have numerous Acuras including the MDX, is the camera just plugged in the DVD system?

Thanks

I'm getting ready to get an 04 MDX\nav\DVD that has the stock camera in two weeks, I'll take a look at the setup when I get it. i plan to do the same thing on my TSX

Somebody said something about needing an RGB converter or something

Roger, how do you plan on doing a clean install or do you also want MDX/ RX camera?
I want the avelectronics, but on top of the $500 you have install, dvd player/ mp3 player, camera..... just adds up to too much. Not sure I can figure outthe computer thing :P
