driver side speaker going bad?

I've been having an issue for the past couple of months where the speaker goes in and out. Sometimes sounds will come out and other times it will not. The 3 other speakers work fine. I've had the car for 5 years so do you guys think it's time to replaced them, is that speaker going "bad"?

please let me know...thanks....

It's a 2005 TSX.

It sounds like a connection problem; it could be your speaker's lead wire to the voice coil wire has weakened and when speaker hit a frequency at the resonance or "sweet sound" it will either short/open that's where you hear the in-and-out sound. Or it could be the wire that come out from the amp to speaker is pinched some where in between(seen it before). Best is do a continuity test on both part, that may require you open your console and door panel off if you are comfortable doing it.
