Double DIN Unit in Storage Bins?

I'm looking to add a TV/DVD/NAV system and I came across a Kenwood unit that I like. It's a double DIN size unit and I'm wondering if it would fit in the area of the storage bin and the "Not an Ashtray".

Anyone know if this might work?

I think it would fit. I'm not positive though. If it does fit it would be a very tight fit. Your best bet is to take the storage bin out and measure it. You could even bring it into the store and put it up to the deck if you want.

It's easy to pull out. No screws. Just open the door. Push down on the rubber mat while pulling out towards you and it should pop right out. Be careful not to scratch the side of your interior trim though.

Also, I happen to have aftermarket Navi/DVD/mp3/TV. I have the Pioneer N1 though, not the Kenwood. You must be thinking about the new model that just came out. It looks pretty damn nice!

Here is a thread that shows a little bit about my install.

Also, look for threads started by Abrams, he also has the same deck with a install that is a little different.
