Double din + stock sub

I'm getting a double din stereo (Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD)
and I'd like to keep the stock sub in my '99 TL. I read the instructions on how to hook up the sub to the HU, here: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/keeping-factory-sub-when-adding-aftermarket-headunit-99-03-tl-326253/

I need to hook up the sub to the HU, but I don't see a sub connection in the back of the HU. Does that mean I can't use my stock sub? I am a total newbie at this.

Thank you!

You'll use the RCA connectors in the bottom middle of that pic. Both LR and RR are your left and right outputs. On Pioneer's that do not have a separate subwoofer output you can switch the REAR to NON-FADING (subwoofer) in the audio menu.
